Bloom Homecare offers a choice of payment options for your convenience. We invoice our services bi-weekly for the prior two weeks and can send the invoice directly to the client, their family, a trusted advisor, or a long-term care insurance company. Our invoices include the dates and times of service along with the caregiver who provided care on each day.
How Can I Pay?
- We do not require a down payment.
- We do not require a deposit.
- We do not require advance payment.
- We trust you will pay your bill on time.
- Our invoices are detailed with the dates and times of services provided each day.
- We invoice for our services every two weeks in arrears.
- We can mail, e-mail, or fax the invoice directly to the client, their family, a power of attorney, a trusted advisor, or a long-term care insurance company.
Our Payment Options
Private Pay
Most of our clients avail of “private pay” which means they submit payment directly to us each billing cycle by checks. For your convenience, we are making arrangements to accept payment by credit card. We will inform you when these arrangements have been finalized.
Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance helps cover the cost of senior care at home or in a nursing facility. It helps protect your loved one’s assets and can cover much of the cost of home care, depending on the policy terms. Bloom Homecare works with most long-term care insurance companies, so be sure to find out if your loved one has a policy.
Other Payment Options
On the other hand, there are many other financial resources available to pay for ongoing care services. To name a few:
- Reverse Mortgages
- Employer-Sponsored Health Savings Account (HAS) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Employee-Sponsored Caregiving Stipends (such as “Back-Up Care” programs for employees who are adult caregivers and travel for work)
- Family Trust Funds
- Workers’ Compensation Insurance
- Catastrophic Auto Insurance
- Medical Waiver (Age and income qualifications do apply)
